PROJECT BACKGROUND
The Digital Inclusion project aims to help vulnerable migrants and refugees to get closer to employment and further education.
Clear evidence indicates the pandemic crisis has created an urgent need for pre-Entry/Entry 1 ESOL combined with basic digital skills.
This project aims to develop integrated provision, delivered online and face-to-face, to address the challenges of learning English during pandemic crisis times.
PEOPLE INVOLVED
Beneficiaries come from across Greater Manchester to join online sessions and face-to-face at our central Manchester classrooms
This project is targeted at learners with very low levels of English (hard-to-reach target groups) and individuals with poor digital skills.
Teachers and volunteers provide intensive individual support to help learners increase their levels of confidence and be able to move forward in the digital space.
We believe this project is making a huge difference in their education and overall journey into employment.
