Purpose and Objectives

 

The promotion of social inclusion for the public benefit among migrants, including refugees and asylum seekers, who are socially excluded on the grounds of their social and economic position: by identifying needs and where providing support for migrants to advance their education, promote their health and well-being and relieve financial hardship: and by educating the public to encourage greater acceptance and understanding of migrants and their contribution to British society. Main activities: integration hubs; provision of English language and British life - in the UK sessions; employability support, IT and digital support groups, well-being activities such as football sessions and walking clubs. Volunteering opportunities and information and advice drop-in. The charity also runs a media project called migrant echoes aimed to encourage people from migrant backgrounds to share their experiences and MiZest Vegan Café aims to support people to gain experience in the catering industry.
