PROJECT BACK GROUND

In 2022 Migrant Support became an Ascentis accredited centre, since then we have provided mainly ESOL provision to a diverse group of learners being Pre-Entry learners the majority followed by: Entry 1, Entry 2 and Entry 3.

 

All of our ESOL teachers are qualified and hold a PGDE.

 

We also have volunteers who provide support as interpreters, classroom assistants and befrienders.

 

Our learners receive group and one-to-one support and additional well-being sessions such as outdoors, and arts and crafts to ensure a successful initial period of integration to life in the UK.

 

We have confirmed MAES – Manchester City Council contract to provide ESOL classes to Pre-Entry groups and Entry1 as part of the Ukrainian fund 2022-2023
